Add/Drop: Students will have less time to decide Continued from page 1 the vice president for academic af¬ fairs. ^^ The new policy, Quadro said, addresses the problem of students whodropclassesattheendoffour wecks and thus jeopardize the chances of students waiting to get into the class. Leonard Salazar, associate vice president for academic affairs who designed the new policy with Quadro, said that "most instruc¬ tors usuallydon'tukein anymore students after two weeks." Therefore, students that wait until the last day to drop a class often keep students on the waiting list out of the class. Inaddition, the last day to drop a class for serious and compelling reasons will be pushed forward as well. The new policy indicated that the action could "occur through the eleventh week of instruction," asopposed to the thirteenth week. Students will still have nine weeks to drop a class for serious and compelling, Salazar said. The deadline is forwarded because of the two-week cut for normal adds and drops. The new policy will take effect nolaterthanFalll992, said Quadro but it may start as soon as Spring 1992. The best way to adjust to the new policy is to pick and choose classes carefully, said Quadro, "and not to wait for the final sale " The CSUF Ecology Society would like to thank the following people for their outstanding work for/\A PADTH WFFk"01 I M, ! ** Denis Bacon Ken Davis Teresa Gipson Anastasia Hendrix Kristi Hutchison Dr. Ida Jones Grace Mandac Adrienne McGraw Dr. Donald Morgan George Probert Deidre Tiller Chris Warner Jay Cost Natasha Deaton Dr. Richard Haas Dr. Delores Huff Yoriko Ishikawa Caryn Machado Julie Martin Dr. Al McLeod Tom Nadelin Mary Quattrin Dr. Pamela Vaughn "DAZZLING!
