Todd Rinkenberger. senator of the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, suggested that $2,000 be re-allocated from the education research budget to the budget of Recreation and Intramurals. The suggestion was not accepted well by other senators. After a drawn-out debate, the Initial decision stood and no budget allocation changes were made. Reaction and Intramurals was funded $72,100, secu¬ rity escort service was funded $6,4000, education research was allotted $ 10.000 and the Dally Collegian was allocated $55,500. - At the close of ASI deliberations, the Legal and Legislative committee made revisions on the Election Codes and Genoveva Islas was voted a seat on the senate, filling the position of senator of the School of Health and Social Work, left vacant by senator Daphne Alftad. There was an addition to Article VI, which regulates elecUon recount proc¬ esses, and to Section 1.7 of Article IV. which reduces the required number of signatures for election candidates. E^tecu Uve posts signatures were reduced lo 50: at-Large. Union and Publications Commission reduced to 50: senator of schools position reduced to 25 and undeclared and graduate posts reduced to 10.
