This first full season together has been an experiment of sorts for the B u lldogs. Adams believes the addition of two more players could make the Bulldogs a "very good team next year." Defensive linemen Tony Hardaway and Willie Howard, and three other junior college players enrolled at Fresno State's last week, giving FSU a total of nine JC recruits enrolled for the spring semester. High school recruits are eligible to begin signing today. Hardaway, 6-foot-4,260-pounder from San Bernadino Valley Junior College, chose FSU over Arizona "State, San Diego State, New Mexico and Long Thursday FSU Sporf^hmdar Mens baskethall vs. Long Beach State, Selland Arena, 7:30 p.m. Women's baettKba.1 at Cal Stait>Fulpwton,7:30 p.m. Men's tennis at San D*ego Intercollefllaie, all day Women's tennis vs. California, Berkeley, 1 p.m. Friday Men's tennis at San Diego Intercollegiate, all day Wrestling vs, Stanford, North Gym, 7:30 p.m. Women's tennis at NorCai intercollegiate, Stockton, all day Beach State. The 6-3, 280-pound Howard,.an ex- marine from Pasadena JC, was also recruited by Pittsburgh, San Jose State, Oregon State and Nevada-Las Vegas. Also enrolling were outside linebacker Trent Brununctt from Golden West, and corrverback Reggie Meredith and inside linebacker Kendrick Young, both from Fullerton JC. Bnimett, an honorable mention South- em California All-State selection, picked Fresno State over Wyoming and New Mexico. Young received offers from Baylor, Iowa State, Colorado State and Cincinnati. Taylor was recruited by South Carolina as well as FSU. The five players joined wide receivers Dwight Pickens (El Camino), Stephen Shelley (Contra Costa) and Taylor Cooper (San Bemadino Valley) and punter/wide receiver Miguel Padilla (Rio Hondo) on FSU's list of JC recruits.
