Each month the meters are read and the numbers are calculated at the dorms, fraternities and sororities to find the lowest usage of kilowatts (electricity) and thermes (gas) and the highest savings that month for each of the categories. In the dorms, first place receives $100 and $50 goes to the second place finisher each month.
