THE DAILY Foreign student tuition fight One of the groups hardest hit recently within the California State College System has been the foreign students, one segment of the student population devoid of any political power. Foreign students In the California state colleges have suffered a 500 per cent Increase In tuition since 1969. Locally, the tuition Increase has been accompanied by a 20 per cent drop from last year In Fresno Slate CoUege's foreign student population. Now, In a bold quest for their rights, five foreign students have legally taken on the State College Board of Trustees. The suit, nied last week, charges that higher fees for foreign students are discriminatory and that the State College System brokelts promise that ^^|WEBUe3Tgg%HftWDB0OK^) U| *a} |^,—— i- ch^JZ****1* I to lowly campus cops. Now It seems that even we at FSC have our very own secret file. The existence of this file has been denied by Campus Police Chief Douglas Bambrldge. However, Its existence Is an accepted fact among those who are most likely to be in it. Members of the vocal left at Fresno State automatically assume that they are given at least passing mention In Bambrldge's "rogue's gallery.* Dr. Dale Bush, associate professor of economics, charged that Bambrldge gave 'patently false' Information to Dr. Harold Haak, academic vice president, when he told him that such a file did not exist.
