The Tucson course ls the annual site of the $100,000 plus Tucson Open, one of the oldest tournaments on the Professional Golf AssoclaUon money trail. Panlccla, a 1970 third team All-Amerlcan, was one of the three Individual golfers selected from the four western states to compete ln tbe 74th i The 22-year-old physical educaUon major averaged 73.1 during the past season, placed third ln the FSC Classic and tied tor third in the Sun Devil Invitational. Beatty reported that the current drive for funds to aid FSC athletics had netted so far SIC,500, 27 per cent of the BF's goal of $60,000 and a higher total than at the same date last year. WCR date set May 12 and 13, 1972 are the- e 45th Annual West Coast Relays, to be run tn Fresno State College's Ratcllffe Stadium.
