Formal Rush ls scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Ra- mada Inn. Paul Devore, national recrulUng representaUve for Pacific Mutual Life, will be the evening's featured speaker. The membership drive will conclude with Informal Rush, taking place Sunday at 7 p.m. at 3553 E. Brown. Alpha Kappa Psl Is designed to aid professional development and provide fellowship with persons of similar Interests. Further ln- Mark Bauman, 255-3158, and Marv Rose, 224-4604. Rush Week will begin Monday for FSC's Beta Kappa chapter of Phi Chi Theta, national profes- A series of Informational coffee hours ln the Business Building foyer will Initiate activity from Monday through Wednesday. A "Come-As-You-Are-After- Class* get-together has also been scheduled for Wednesday. Active members will host rushees at a dinner on Oct. 1 and afternoon tea on Oct. 4. Women with business and economics majors are eligible for Phi Chi Theta membership. AU rushees are required to be currently enroUed for 12 or more units, maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher, and possess at least seceond semester freshman standing. Alpha Kappa Alpha Initiation of 17 pledges into the recently accredited Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority will take place Saturday. The organlzaUon, dedicated to community and college service, has already been Involved ln tutorial and training and assistance attheCecllHlnton Community Center. Further Information on the sorority may be obtained from Mrs. Chris Bessard,-»Ethnlc Studies Department, ext.'2932.' sponsored by the daaa members Of the Recreational Programming class of FSC. Tbe Introductory event of the semester will be 'An Invitation to Good VlbraUons: Soul, Rock, and Folk". Tbe performers Include a five-piece band, the'Soul Lights.' AU are members of toe Roosevelt High School Marimba Band. The second band, 'Blood- worth,' ls a hard rock group who will be performing some of their own compositions. They play at dances ln and around the Fresno area, and just recently performed at the Selland Arena. Third on the Ust of entertainers will be a folk group, 'Gentle Persuasion,* featuring two female singers and a 12 string guitarist. The final group will be a Soul The two-hour program will begin at 7:30 p.m. and refreshments wlU be served following the program. An added attracUon will be tbe drawing of prizes for free games of bowling, shuffleboard, football of art, food and folk songs, vrtU take place Saturday from 2-9 p.m. at tte'College R.UgUus Center.
