Undoubtedly there will be persons who might disagree! with this last statement, but I feel an equally important element of my policy has been to promote, to some degree, harmony within the college itself. I have no regrets or misgivings about the paper this year since I have been supported by an excellent staff of writers and editors who have laborer! diligently. To these people I owe my grateful and sincere appreciation—reporters. Cecil Tange, Dave Hale. John Rylc, Bev Lawton, Tom Mulhern, Bob Bayley, Pat Parker, Tom Emery and Chuck Kratz. To my day editors. Paul Stine. Steve Ledbcttcr and Herb Strentz 1 owe much in the way of gratitude. Also to these members of my staff I wish to thank for the way they helped on The Collegian this year: exchange tor Marlene Hansen, circulation directors Delton Shirley and Bob Bockenstedt, and photographers Tommy Smith, James Minter, Pete Arnold and Bruce Jenkins. Those administrators that I feel did a great deal to help us and provide inspiration are Dr. Arnold Joyal, the president at FSC, Dr. Leo Wolfsen, dean of students, Hedley Stacey, director of counseling, who was always ready ' us when we were in trouble, Gordon Wilson, associa of student activities, who did much to pass the news c and Dr. Harry Jones, the associate dean of records and ad- Also I give my thanks to Ken Lewis, the veterans and scholarships counselor, Miss Rosemary Scott, the activities advisor, and Herb Wheaton, who helped us on several administrative problems. Ernie, though, has been more than just our typographer. He has been a good friend to know and he has done far more to help The Collegian than most others. I also thank Bob Jones at the print shop for all he has contributed to making The Collegian a much better paper. This goes for all the other people at the Central California Typographic Service. I almost left out one person who has done a lot this year, not just for the publications, but for FSC in general. This is Art Margosian, who was a former editor of The Collegian and who was executive secretary of the FSC dedication last The dedication week was a tremendous success was due to the hard work and efforts of Art, who I feel did not really receive the full amount of gratitude he deserved.
