Thc second reason is more serious, because the War Board has provided that all profits from war nijjhrs be given to a cause which will aid the war eflorr. All parries concerned agreed that the Sadie Haw kins dance was ro be considered a war night and that the profits were ro be used in the usual war night procedure: that is, these profits were not to be used for thc personal use of thc organizations that sponsored the Sadie Hawkins War Night, but were to be pur ro war use. As yet we have heard ho sratc- trtciu as to where these profits, if any, have gone. Thc general statement from representatives of thc sponsoring organizations is "broke even."
