FSC w.ll travel under trimmed, if not slashed sails this semester. But for all the slashings thc ship of Fresno State will make a safe voyage if . . . 1. Students arc willing to accept cuts in activities in proportion to the cuts in their budget. All publications, Caravan, Handbook, Campus and Collegian, havp taken curtailmcnrs in their activirit* which will' mean to thc student just a little less from each of the publications. It might be well for students that athletics won't be bringing in money this year because of thc climit night schedules. 2. Students will remember there- i- going on nd that fun as usual is just . place as business as usual. Modifications in student life can and must be expected . . . male members are expecting them momentarily. This is not intimating that fun is taboo, that is fat from thc purpose of this editorial. Just keep student activities, etc., within limits of thc student budget: It's a well knoVn fact that budgets come and go but that balanced ones ate seldom found. Why not have FSC students and their officers keep their heads above the sea of deficit by practicing a linlc economy wherever possible. ROWELL.
