What has happened to an idea fostered and nurtured by certain departments of colleges? What has happened to the idea that it is only athletic squads that spreads the fame of this Fresno State College? Remember when it was thought that the only way to increase the prestige of a scholastic institution was to send some twenty-two lusty young chaps on a special train to meet other twenty-two lusty young chaps of another institution. But what has happened to those beautiful ideas of yesteryear? his week and the fill be thinking a an they do in the every- I think of the greatest gift of all.. . PEACE! The Music Department returns from a successful appearance at Hanford with their "Messiah." To say that these two appearances will in all probability create a feeling of warmth for the college of Fresno State is mere redundancy. Oh, jirhat has happened to those beautiful ideas of yesteryear? Those ideas that an athletic squad is the only envoy of goodwill?
