In these ten long years humanity and civilization have un- dcrgonc their greatest period of depression. These ten years have experienced thc virtual extinction of one or more peoples. The valiant Greeks, the Poles, and Jews have suffered the wrath of Hitlcrism more than any other peoples. The Nazi slavemastcrs -have attacked these people with thc expressed purpose of reducing them to thc lowest limits of human deg-, nidation. • Centuries ago there pervaded the entire continent of Europe a darkness of middlc-agc prejudice and stupidity. In thc 14th century the Monastic orders once again kindled the flame or intelligence in thc society of the Middle Ages. In the ten year period beginning in 1933 system of government violently opposed to c own once again, as in thc Middle Ages, plunged the entire world into a chaotic parallel of the Dark Ages.
