Let's Act Our Age
Both sophomores and freshmen will have the opportunity of letting off any steam they may have Accumulated during the past hazing season when the annual j
brawl between the two classes is held tomorrow afternoon in Ratcliffe Stadium. Enough events are listed on
the program at the present time to keep every male]
member of the two classes busy for some time and also
to increase a lot of appetites.
The brawl held last spring in the same place
feet in nearly all respects but one and this could easily I
have been averted. Overzealous undergrads, evidently!
forgetting that they were no longer in high school, did|
such insipid things last spring as tothrow several upperclassmen into the mud pond which1 had been made for
the "tug o' war." This one act turned, what had originally
appeared as a good brawl, into the type of exhibition
usually carried on by high schools.
Up to the present, with but a few minor exceptions,
both the frosh and soph students have been steering al
course which has been commendable. There is therefore
no reason why a good record should be blemished by any,
small-time acts that might be committed by either class,
tomorrow. Let it be in the right spirit and between the!
right people.
