THE COLLEGIAN Numerous remarks have been heard in this department ins the lack of enthusiasm shown by Fresno SUte rooters games this year. It may have been that the games were dull, and e the rain last Saturday naturally dampened spirits y for those who did brave the weather. But there st no earthly reason why a group of a thousand students can't get up and really whoop it up for their owi If the trouble has been that the games have not been close enough, this will be remedied tomorrow night when the Bulldogs play the Ramblers. For three years the best in the manner of excitement and rivalry; there will be no If the trouble has been weather, it will be clear tomorrow night and even warmer, according to the weather man; if anything, the weather will be at its best for the game. If students are embarrassed by yelling, forget it. After all it the one that fails to yell which should be embarrassed, so let it oat and let it rip. In other words, there is absolutely no'reason why the rooting section tomorrow shouldn't be the biggest and loudest evr- *- root for a Cardinal and Blue team. With a great game, great ther, and a great team set for the contest, it now falls upon the a perfect game by turning out the greatest rooting section of the year. E».ry Sit u "o U^.T«| First Games In Intramural Basketball Tournament Set For Monday At 4tl5 Sigma Tau WiU Battle -Renegades in Initial Struggle in Women's Gym; Pirates Will Tangle With Gang Busters in First Independent Game With ten teams having filed entries, play in the annual college intramural basketball tournament win get under way next Monday afternoon at 4:15 in the women's gym when the Sigma Tau fraternity team goes up against the Renegades, formerly the Sigma Alpha Chi fraternity team. At 5:15, following the fraternity game, and independent team managed by Stan Pretzer, calling itself the "Pirates," will take the court against the "Gang Busters," a quintet managed by Vaughn Melikian.
