THE COLLBQIAH COLLEGIAN EDITORIAL FEATURE PACF E COLLEGE ASSOCIATION spoiled the San Jose arf/ument by defeating De Groot': team, thus giving the Wolves a clear claim to the title but that is beside the point in the present argument We believe, as do the players and students of Fresno State College, that the Spartans could very easily have played our team again. As a matter of fact, if the Bull-f dogs had not shown so much power at the end of the season, the Garden City rooters would probably have challenged Fresno to another game. As it is, they know— and we know—that their team needed all of the famous] San Jose luck to hold the Bulldogs to a tie. We are sorry' the Spartans would not agree to a postseason game. We regret that they have turned chameleon. But if we talked up our players as they do, we would not] be afraid to match them with any team. San Jose can do the talking. Fresno has the team!
