THE COLLEGIAN COLLEGIAK EDITQPIAl^EEAT UM PAGE STANLEY LIVINGSTONE ... EDITORIAL STAFF a. Roent Miller, George J, Keep It Up! Win or lose, the Fresno State College football team has discovered that the students are behind it 100 per cent. Nothing could show this better than the way in which the team was welcomed yesterday afternoon at the train] station. \ The team was sent amidst yell and cheers, and wa ceived in the same glorious fashion. They didn't "bring I home the bacon," but every Fresno Stater knows that his | team gave all it had in the effort to win, and that fact justifies all the pride and enthusiasm that the students] entertain for the Bulldogs. This year, as never before, the student body has backed up the team, both at the home games and out-of-town games. The trip to the Cal Aggie game was a grand display of pep. A trip to San Jose is also being planned... all, of course, due to the enthusiasm and co-operation of the | students. There is nothing left to be said about a revived student spirit at Fresno State except that it should be kept up. The team still has a few tough games; indeed, the toughest this season, to play. They certainly deserve what sup-| port they are getting . . . and the student body deserves congratulations! —R. G.
