The last few years, school spirit at FSC has taken i

the end is in sight. It will take many years to create a new

traditions of old. And we must remember new traditions
have to be founded on the successes of student activities.
You students of the new campus, which will be officially
dedicated next semester, must consider yourselves pioneers.
But unlike most pioneers, your building job should entail no
hardship. On the contrary- since traditions,
school spirit, and school spirit, in essence, is only an enthusiastic student body, working together in full support of the
y student activities. The job is really a very pleasant one.
The Collegian editors shouldn't have to apologize for lack
ol spirit. We .shouldn't have to write editorials vainly
exhorting you to partake in campu;
spirit. No, it should and must come naturally to you as an
important part of college life. There is a lot more to college
' n than just book learning. You have to learn to be

Now we have said all we are going to say about school
spirit. If you each help develop it you will get richer dividends
