It's Your Collegian The Collegian is published and supported by the Fresno State College Student .Association. Since student body card Holders are members are part owners" of the paper. The Collegian staff welcomes all comments you wish to make, whether le school, student body or the newspaper. As co-owners of the paper, you should know how y paper is staffed and how its financed. The staff of The Collegian is comprised mostly of journalism majors who want to make the newspaper profession their students are eligible to write f6r the weekly paper. Student body card funds pay about two-fifths of the c of The Collegian, while the bulk of the expenses comes from advertising revenue. Since advertising play: part in the production of the paper, students should make it their business to patronize the firms listed in the paper during the year. The advertiser's support of The Collegian is a back-scratching proposition. The businessman scratches our back when he we buy goods or services from him, thus scratching his back. With your support, the staff of The Collegian can carry-on^with the fine traditions of the past and publi a newspaper that you will enjoy and be proud of.
