The Chicano Commencement Committee recently announced the ceremony will occur May 30 at Ihe Fresno Fairgrounds. The deadline to apply it Friday, May 6. Tony Garduque, of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and a committee co-ordinator, said any Chicano graduating this spring, this summer, or who had graduated from CSUF in Fall 1978, may participate in the honorees snd their famUles while Mariachl de la Tlerra provides music. Each honoree may bring three persons from his/her family but additional persons will be expected to pay 81.90. At 7:30 pjn., commencement and awards ceremonies will occur. The Chicano Commencement Committee recently announced the ceremony will occur May 30 at Ihe Fresno Fairgrounds. The deadline to apply it Friday, May 6. Tony Garduque, of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and a committee co-ordinator, said any Chicano graduating this spring, this summer, or who had graduated from CSUF in Fall 1978, may participate in the honorees snd their famUles while Mariachl de la Tlerra provides music. Each honoree may bring three persons from his/her family but additional persons will be expected to pay 81.90. At 7:30 pjn., commencement and awards ceremonies will occur.
