The CSUF" wrestling team, coached by Richard Francis and assisted by last year's captain, Bob Parker, hosts Its, final home dual meet of the season tomorrow night at "7:30 v p.ro.. when Brljham Young University (BYU) comes to town. The meet should be a tough one for the Bulldogs since the BYU Cou?ars are rated sixth tn the nation. This year's wrestllngsquad Is a young one, with only three Seniors on the varsity roster. This youth Is one ot the Bulldogs' major disadvantages because, according to freshman Bob Berg, a wrestler in the 167-lb. class, "Wrest- llnf experience Is Invaluable." Berg said many teams they wrestle against are comprised almost entirely or seojors. This makes for tough matches. In addition, the. Bulldogs' schedule included five teams rated In the nation's top 20. Scott Hassen, a Junior wrestling at Die 126-lb. welgbWoolnted out, "We wrestle the very belt guys. . .and we learn from them." Berg, a chemistry major, explained, "It hurts the way our team looks (their record is 4-9), but it really helps us It is easy to see how experience plays so Important a role in Intercollegiate wrestling. The Bulldogs' top men, Cres Romero (118-lb.), Ray Moz n42-lb.), and Amos Scott (190-lb.) are all upperclassmen.
