Johnson is a member of the Fresno State College School of Business Alumni Associationand the Phi B-ta Sigma fraternity. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Arthelma, and their three young children. He first joined the hank man¬ agement program in Julyof 1968. The work¬ shop will run for two weeks, through Aug. 8. The two unit course will be conducted by Dr. James A. She will take over her new position on July 28. The announcement was made by Earle Bassett, general manager of the Association. Mrs. Perry has recently been employed by the Fresno State the City of Fresno as adminis¬ trative secretary of the Rede¬ velopment Agency, secretary to both former Mayors Wallace D. Henderson and Floyd H. Hyde and as administrative secretary to the Personnel Director, s She attended Edison and Reed- ley High Schools and FresnoClty i JUANITA PERRY College as a placement Inter¬ viewer. While working with the FSC Association Mrs. Perry will be responsible for the payroll, em¬ ployee benefits (Insurance and retirement), prospective inter¬ views for new employees and conduct new employee orienta¬ tion. Stewart, an Instructor at FSC since 1966, received his BA at Los Angeles State College, his MA at Stanford University, and his MFA at State University of Iowa, According to James W. Association names
personnel head
The Fresno State College As¬
sociation, Inc, has announced
that Mrs. Juanita Perry will as¬
sume the new position of Per¬
sonnel Supervisor. She will take
over her new position on July 28.
The announcement was made by
Earle Bassett, general manager
of the Association.
Mrs. Perry has recently been
employed by the Fresno State
the City of Fresno as adminis¬
trative secretary of the Rede¬
velopment Agency, secretary to
both former Mayors Wallace D.
Henderson and Floyd H. Hyde and
as administrative secretary to
the Personnel Director, s
She attended Edison and Reed-
ley High Schools and FresnoClty

College as a placement Inter¬
viewer.
While working with the FSC
Association Mrs. Perry will be
responsible for the payroll, em¬
ployee benefits (Insurance and
retirement), prospective inter¬
views for new employees and
conduct new employee orienta¬
tion.

Bassett also announced two
other Association changes.
Darrell Foletta, presently con¬
troller, will assume the added
duties of Assistant GeneralMan-
ager and Mrs. Alios Thorns will
become Director of Food Service.
Her previous title was FoodSer-
vloe Manager.
Foletta Joined the Association
staff In 1961 as office manager.

Jorgenson to
conduct FSC
concert band
James Jorgenson of the Uni¬
versity of Redlands will direct
the Fresno State College Concert
Band Tuesday, July 15, at 8 p.m.
In the college amphitheatre.
Admission Is free and Is open
to the public.
Currently serving as President
of the College Band Directors
National Association, Jorgenson
will appear a second time with
the FSC band. The last summer
band concert is scheduled for
July 22 at 7 p.m. on Fresno's
downtown Mariposa Mall.
The FSC Concert Is offered by
the Summer Academy for the
Performing Arts and the 1969
Summer Session. Campus park¬
ing regulations will not be In ef¬
fect for the July 15 concert.
Jorgenson's concert under the
stars will be staged under a
unique sound shell designed by
Geotz Schierle of Berkeley. The
acoustical shell Is unique on the
West Coast being constructed of
canvas under high tension.
