Payments wUl be made from room and board revenue from both new and exlst- OriglnaUy planned for occu¬ pancy (his semester, the project met many delays ln Its early planning stages. In January, 1983, authorization was given the State Office of Architecture and Con¬ struction to prepare designs and schemaUcs. These plans were design to fasctlltaie 70 more resi¬ dents. Once design problems were aetUed, the Job was put to bid. Original bids were as much as 20 Per cent higher than OAC es- tlmates, and were returned tor revision. The contract was awarded when revised bids met OAC estimates. The seven buUdlng complex, which wUl double on-campus bousing facilities at FSC, will house 634 students.
