October 14. 1966 Tough San Jose Spartans, Cal Poly will take on Bulldog harriers tomorrow The undefeated Fresno State cross country team wUl resume Its long distance battles Satur¬ day, after having last weekend off, when lt travels to San Luis Obispo where lt will meet the Mustangs and the Spartans from San Jose State. Coach Red Estes' runners o- pened the season on a winning note with a double duel meet victory over Pomona and San Luis Obispo on Oct. 1. Saturday however could prove another story, says Estes. Estes feels that the Bulldogs can take the Mustangs, even with i of i competed, the exception of Jim Sullivan, a fine runner, I don't know who Is running for them this year.
