Maurice came to the Bulldogs by way of Porterville Junior College where he played two seasons and was Most Valuable Player each season. Maury first tried his hand at football while at Porterville High School but switched to basket¬ ball after suffering a knee to- jury during toe gridiron season. A real break for this school. Talbot, who has everything a coach could expect In a ball player, gave his best, all toe time, ln his three year tenure under the Bulldog colors.
