NOW IS THE TIME Why Visalia for the Post Summer Session? Why waste the modern facilities of the, new Fresno State College built specifically for the business of college level education? Here at FSC we have the laboratories, the lecture fac: and a library built specifically for the job to be done. Wouldn't a second six weeks session right here on the pus, which is set up for the kind of education the SS student is looking for, be logical ? Such an arrangement would facilitate the earning of a Master's Degree which many of the San Joaquin Valley teachers arc seeking. They have only the summer months to devote to this project. Also a student wishing to accelerate his college education could earn 12 units during the summer, instead of six. The Master's candidate and the undergraduate could pur¬ sue their goals with all the tools that the FSC campus pro¬ vides. He could utilize the summer months with less confu- to himself and to FSC. ,nd functional facility. Profs Study New Approach To Languages SWAN SONG This Friday will mark the close of the first six-week immcr Session. The rcconi indicate that from the stand- int of enrollment, the academic program, and the schedule student activities, this has been the most successful immer Session held on this campus. This summer marked the innovation of the printed Sum- sr Session Collegian. It is hoped that it has realized a function in supplying faculty and students with important information about the summer program.
