Three other professors served as designers: Roy Hergenroeder, scenes; Gaylord Graham, lighting; and Jean- ncttc Pratt, costumes and makeup. Called Comic-Mystery "Right Y'ou Are" could be classified as a mystery as ' as farce and tragedy, for throughout the play, although .... viewers know there is a tragic triangle in front of them, they do not know what it is. The production portrays a man living with his wife on the top floor of a tenement while his mother lives at his expense in a lavish apartment in an adjacent building. The wife never leaves the tenement, and the mother never goes nearer the wife than the yard below, from which she shouts up at her. Of course the neighbors arc puzzled. Asked for an < planation. the husband says the mother is deluded. He sa she thinks the wife is her daughter, but actual the husband's second spouse. The mother's daughter, w was his first wife, is.dead, but the mother won't believe The husband makes out a convincing case. Then the mother is quizzed. To her. the son is the deluded one. or the one who is led astray. He has never recovered from a delusion that his wife died, and they have had to let him marry her again under the impression she was another Students on the technical staff include Goggin. assistant to the director; June Chandler, stage manager; Marie Friere, Robert Sugita and Miss Schroeter. costume crew; and Ruby Tillcy.
