In 1977 the BuMogs, coached by Bob Bereskln. svere champions of the eight-team Southern Cali¬ fornia Soccer Aaaocl-tffon Central Division, finishing with a 7-0-1 league mark and 11-6 overall. Things promise to be a bit tougher this fall as Fresno State will be butting head* with such conference heavies as the Uni¬ versity of San Francisco (National Champions In 1975. 76. and runner-ups in 1977). San Jose SUte. Santa Clara. Stanford. U. C. Berkeley. St Mary'a. UOP. and U. C.-Santa Barbara.
