.Letter to the editor:
I read with some dismay your last
two columns concerning catching bison
bicepUS-those "macho hunks with the
ham-sized biceps " Frankly, if I 'd been
keeping count of all the times you've
used that phrase, McDonald's might
have cause for alarm It seems to me
vou have women all wrong. We're not
looking for mucho macho men with
biceps the size of Toledo We're 1ook-
mg for weak, ineffectual dolts, bimbos
and the like A twit you might say And
i thought I would shed some light on
the proper twit protocol including sure
nre lines to make the passion last
Herewith is my reply
Advice To Anyone Who Wants It
Snaring Dolts, Bimbos and Twits
and Sure Fire Lines To Make The
First off, dress is unimportant as
your basic twit doesn't know the
difference between a skirt and a shoe
So an elaborate costume is not only
unnecessary but impractical as your
twit may try to get into your shoes
But one word of caution, twits are
known for having a penchant for drop
cloths and rubber aprons
Donning your drop cloth, y-u decide
to saunter to the local twit hot spot No
it's not the Ramada Inn  That's right,
dreams c Well it' s really quite easy you
see the twit is the one trying to be the
nine pin. Now I know you prefer the
seven pin but what are two pins
between twits? Anyway you've gotten
the courage to rent some shoes or skirts
hoping to lure the twit from the fifth
lane. He's not responding Well no
wonder dearie. You forgot to do your
imitation of Carmen Miranda doing her
imitation of Lassie. (Twits love cold
noses and wearing fruit in their hair.)
Okay you've caught his attention.
Now move in for the kill Tip #1: Don't
speak Lithuanian or use words with two
or more syllables. Twits speak in mono¬
syllables and only in pig latin. Tip #2:
Try walking silly, tripping as often as
the next lane. Now you're ready to try
a sure fire line on your twitthrob Fall
forward and say, 'O-day ou-yay
ant-way o-tay col-drayr' If he is any
kind of a twit, he'll scoop you in his
arms and show his passion by slobber¬
ing on your shoulder. Isn't love grand?
