On the third play of the second half, Paul Rigby of Lambda Chi picked off a HMFIC pass and returned it for a touchdown Peterson passed to Dave Grossman to give Lambda Chi a 13-7 advantage S-Mpl plays later Lambda Chi missed a golden opportunity to put the contest out of reach but HMFIC held them on the one yard line. HMFIC mounted a desperation drive on their last possesion of the game. With one HMFIC play left the tension mounted as HMFIC was inside the Lambda Chi ten yard line. Louis Cordoza became the Lambda Chi hero of the day when he broke through the HMFIC offensive line and grabbed Clay Lee's flags before he could find a HMFIC receiver open With their 13-7 victory. Lambda Chi won its first flag football title since 1973. *r "on an unrealistic California air standards SAN FRANCISCO The California able scientific validity, and that we Chamber of Commerce believes air must attain them without question and quality standards of the federal Clean at all costs," the chamber said Monday Air Program are too stringent, and the However, the business group added, attempt by the government to enforce there is growing evidence f them should be reevaluated. standards were set "on an i 'The public has been led to believe zero risk' basis and upon that the standards are of unquestion- able scientific data."
