£ Dtc.MW3 grawntipl Women host Aggies The CSUF women's basketball team will put its 3-1 record on the line tonight against the University of California at Davis in the first half of a basketball doublcheader at Selland Arena. Coach Bob Spencer's team will face off with the Aggies at 5:05 p.m.. just before the men's game at 7:35 p.m. Ticket holders are entitled to watch both games. Four Bulldogs, led by forwards Careana Clay and Tami Towle, are averaging in double figures. Clay leads the team with an 18.0 clip, just ahead of Towle's 17.5 average. Center Karen Cooke and guard Peggy Japely are averaging 11:0 and 10.5 points, respectively. JapJey's aver¬ age was boosted by a 25-poim perfor¬ mance against the University of Nevada- Reno last week. The Bulldogs must finish the season without the services of 6-foot-2 fresh¬ man center Tami Gibson, who re-ag- grevated a shoulder injury she suffered in high school. CSUF must also do without the services of backup forward Tish Madsen, who was sus¬ pended indefinitely for disciplinary The 4-1 Aggies have relied on 5-9 forward Stacy Warburton for the scor¬ ing (11.0)and rebounding (6.0) numbers.
