Pog« Four- -The Fresno Stat* College Collegian- Bulldog Golfers Win LA Invitational Tourney Tankers Beat SFS; Craig Sets Record By FRED McPHERSOX Fresno State College's unheralded golf team is in the limelight today after defeating all competition to win the Los Angeles invitational golf tournament. Just last Thursday FSC was clobbered by TJSC's golfers in match play, but Saturday the Bulldogs totaled a low of 438 hest such teams points Angeles State, who was third. San Diego State. With 16 points, the Grimmies are the only team close lo the Animals In the independent league standings. Sigma Chi has 22 points and their nearest competition. Sigma I Alpha Epsilon and Theta Chi. have 16 points In the race Tor the fraternity league flag. Sigma Chi No. 2 and Sigma Delta Phi are the only other teams with over 10 points. After each team has played their final two games the cham¬ pions of the two leagues will play¬ off for the overall intramural volleyball championship.
