The Pepperdlne nine brings to town an array of talent from last year's club which bas not yet been tested this season. The Waves are led by hard¬ hitting left fielder Tom Snyder, who batted .344 last year. Center fielder Bobby Williams is con¬ sidered a real "ball hawk" and long ball threat. Catcher Walt Birch hit seven home batted .179 lost spring.
