Fresno State heads .south on a crucial road trip this week end. The Bulldogs face Long Beach State, lied with FSC for the CCAA lead at 2-0. In Long Beach Fri¬ day. Saturday, they move on to San Diego to play a San Diego Stale team rated as one Of the conference's dark horses. Long Beach has been picked lo nose out Fresno for the pennant in prc-season predictions and both clubs lived up to their top ratings last week. The Bulldogs whipped Los Angeles Slate. 73-62. -and Santa Barbara. 67-56. while Long Beach wss routing San Fernando Valley State and San Diego State.
