Cornell took a 24-21 lead to the lockerroom at halftime. The Big Red clung to a 34-29 advantage when the Bulldogs went to work. Ebeltjes sank two free throws to start the rally, then Mitchell kept it going with a successful bank shot. Cole (FSU's leading scorer with 16 points) hit a, free throw to give Fresno a 37-36 lead. The teams traded baskets until Bajusz drilled a 17-foot jump shot to give Cornell a 45-43 lead with 1:37 left to play. The Bulldogs worked the ball to Derrick Barden, who was fouled on his shot.
