'Dags downed By Michael Young StaffWriter In. their second meeting of the season, the Wyoming Cowboys defeated the Fresno State men's basketball team 84-7C'last night in Laramie, Wyoming. The Ttogs pulled off a 57-54 win to take the last meeting in Selland. That very fatrf proved to make this match-up something to watch. The Bulldog men also had /- a three game winning streak on the line. The threegamewin streak saw the TDogs go. a perfect 3-0 with Darmayl Stamps in the line¬ up. The streak also marked three complete games that Coach Colson has worn his lucky red - sweater. Added to the excitement \ was ah angry Theo Ratliff, who was held to just twp points in the -last meeting. Fresno State vs. Wyoming, the *s sequel, was hardly the defensive battle the last match-up proved to be, with the twoteams combining -——for 154 points. Wyoming guard Lad rell Whitehead lead all scor- '" ers with 27 points to boost 'the Cowboys to a 84-70 win. Ratliff avoided foul trouble and lit up the scoreboard 17 times. He also blocked five Fresno State shots. Fresno State's own shot blacker, Anthony Pelle, blocked just one shotto go along with his eight points. High point man for • the Tiogs was Dominick Young, dropping in 22. Darnell McCulloch added 15 points arid four boards in a losing effort. Fresno' State shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, but oiuy 33 percent from the line: In the first half alone, Wyoming vis¬ ited the charity stripe 13 times making 11 of those chances. Call us up and hopefully well'make you laugh." says Brady. Chavez is more interested in making sure that the puWk: knows when the show is on. Despitefrequeatchangestothe" cast and format of the show, two men still sit down approximately four feet apart every Friday at 5:00 p.m. They put on their earphones, and listen to the introduction musk.
