"However isn't it a shame that while some Americans romanti¬ cize these heroic battles, they themselves destroy what those heroes fought for? And I'm not referring to the - piece of cloth with red and white stripes, I am referring to the ide¬ als the flag represents—FREE¬ DOM, JUSTICE and EQUAL¬ ITY. I believe that if the soldiers who fought in the American h- wars were alive, they would find Pro-life, from Page 2 active. Personally, I feel keeping your zipper up until marriage is thebestsolution. But, this method is nqtshared by many. So, until it .is, each person must be held re¬ sponsible for actions. From the statistics shown, it's clear that this isn't happening. Too many people are taking the easy way out and having abortions. The point I'm trying to make is that abortion is not a proper method of birth control, and should not be used for that reason. We have condoms for that. Here's a quote I saw oh a bumper sticker that will keep you thinking about this issue: "This most dangerous place to live in America is in the mother's womb." y l Sincerely, Caleb Randall themselves fighting against all the people that, under their names, cry for racism and-dis- criminatiton. Thaf s the same flag that's rep¬ resenting 60 percent of Califor- nians who would rather blame innocent children than accept the governor's lack of capacity to govern. For some people, burning the flag symbolizes their freedom being destroyed by Proposition 187. I would not argue with any¬ one whether the people who burned the flag had the right to do it or not. I thought it was the American way. Theidea ofburningthe Ameri¬ can flag didn't come from Mexico or Latin America, because, for your information, we don't have those kind of ideas. I respect my flag (Mexican), I love it and it represents all that I am. For that reason, I would never bum the>US, flag because I re¬ spect it as I respect everybody's feelings.
