Next to Geringer's is Bueno's painting, which expresses the future of children. She said her painting includes imageg.qf the city,children, theearth, the moon and peace. Another portion of the mural is the' traditional Islamic geom¬ etry of Mohamed El- Sh arif Sharon Banister's painting, on die othe* hand, will deal with life in hospitals. Shelby Strategier's contribu¬ tion to the mural is a painting that presents a critique of televison- dependent living, while Darren Crow provides an "enigmatic variation on Michelangelo's cre¬ ation of man," Nadaner said. Though the mural is not yet complete, the artists have already started to receive responses.
