Budget cuts or not, we must find ways to mal^ the library and computer labs more accessible (longer hours) and also update the labs. Programs such as mtramurals and thoxampus escort service that benefit all stu den ts need to be fully supported. I also feel that the majority of students would benefit from maintaining the CSUF title. What should the ASl's mission be? The ASI needs to be committed to the equitable distinction of funds. A decrease in funding may force the closure of the current sites. The Children's Center allows students with children to complete their educational goals at CSUF. It also benefits the- School of Education as well as the Departmen t of Psychology. Access to campus resources for all students must be maintained and expanded. What should the ASl's mission be? It is extremely important that ASI be a responsive student government. The average student gets little out of the ASI, but a tiny number make out like lottery dubs, campus activities, sponsored lecture series, Campus Children's Center, International student activities and will decrease student enrichment. A book exchange program is a must on this campus. The Campus Children's Center is an investment not a waste of which a "UNREALISTIC" party thinks. The funding of organizations, clubs, activities is also an investment. Student representation! winners. Issues like fee increases, library hours, computer lab availabil¬ ity and protection from on-campus crime require civilized negotiation and compromise, not confrontation and grandstanding. What should the ASl's mission be? The ASI mission is enhancement of education. This means concentrating on academic needs, not personal political crusades. Every student puts $32 into the ASI, and should expect to get $32 out of the ASI. What should the ASl's mission be? The ASI mission should be to maintain the integrity of the corporation and to maintain the integrity of the students.
