Jansen's spirit of rugged in¬ dividualism is worth seeking in this day and age where most everything comes so easily. This same spirit helped a people build a nation, tame a conti¬ nent, win a World War and put a man on the moon. Jansen is a hero in that he represents all of the heroes who work hard at what they do, pay taxes and make the nation work — the American people. ' Jansen did nOt depend on any federal or state government pro¬ grams to support him. He didn't receive government handouts. And no government bureau-, cracy in Washington D.C .saw to his state of mind, his tech-, nique or even his health.
