"Elvis wasn't Elvis" is the trendiest, although suprisingly catchy, track. The slightly upscale track, 'groove the Peachy comes as close as the band gets to actu¬ ally grooving. "Icky Dreams" is about three minutes and 47 sec¬ onds too long and is lyrically de¬ funct. "Hello Sad Goodbye" is a suc¬ cessful, melodramatic ballad and the demented highlight of the al¬ bum due to its ear catching guitar. The first a lbum fremitus Selma band should have been left in the vineyards. Of course, the .weather has been hard-enough on the raisin industry, so the farmers may have some reservations about giving the album playing time. - "The Scaries" can be heard on KFSR 90.7 FM and will perform live at "Qub Fred" tonight for a special rate of twoV dollars.
