The Society brings Earth Week, a week of environmental information and entertainment, to campus every year from April 20- 24. Earth Week is their biggest event, with numerous lectures and. exhibits sprinkled around campus. Chris Warner, editor of the Ecology Society's newsletter, "Voice of the Earth", said he decided to join because of the need for education. "I saw an opportunity to help educate people about the environment," Warner, in his third semester with the Ecology Society, said. Warner said recycling cans and newspaper is just the start of caring for the environment.
