Sports, The Collegian • March 5,1991 Athlete-of-the-Week Collegian Sports Staff Talk about having a good weekend. Fresno State softball player Gina LoPiccolo had the kind of offensive numbers most players would be envious of this past weekend at the Roadrunner Classic and is the Collegian Sports'���Athlete-of-the-Week. In six games -LoPiccolo had nine hits, four of them home runs, and 12 runs batted in as the Bulldogs went 5-1 in the tournament. One of her homers was a grand slam, the first of her career. LoPiccolo, a senior third baseman, came into the season with five career Gina LoPiccolo home runs, and ended last season as FSU's all-time career RBI leader, with 112. Other performance of note: Amy Windmiller, softball: Windmiller, a freshman, threw her first career no- hitter in FSU's 5-0 win over McNeese State last Friday. Cycling Club has successful meet at UCSB Collegian Sports Staff The Fresno State Cycling Club placed in the top ten in four events at a meet held Sunday at UC Santa Barbara. In the team trial competition, the men's "A" team, consisting of Mike Slavics, Jason Moore, Mark Comes and Troy Ah Yo, took fifth place overall in a field of 24 teams. In the 60 mile men's "B" road race, Troy Ah Yo took sixth place out of a pack of 70 riders. In the 75 mile mens "A" road race, Mike Slavics took 14th place out of a pack of 90 riders. In the women's "B" road race, Carla Slivoskey took ninth place."
