Terry Tumey introduced as Fresno State’s new director of athletics

Terrance J. “Terry” Tumey was introduced as Fresno State’s new director ofathletics at a press conference Monday, June 25, at the Save Mart Center.
Tumey’s appointment was announced June 21 by Fresno State PresidentJoseph I. Castro on Twitter.
“I am thrilled to welcome Terry Tumey to Fresno State,” Castro said. “Terryis energetic, thoughtful and highly respected by his colleagues across thenation. His unique background as a successful football player at UCLA,professional record of distinction working for the San Francisco 49ers andDenver Broncos and as athletic director of three dierent collegiateprograms make him the ideal person to lead Fresno State’s AthleticsDepartment. With Terry’s strong leadership, I am condent that ourBulldog athletic program will boldly rise to new heights of success.”
