was held at Hospitality
House Friday evening. Plans
are under way to hold more
of them in the future.

Boy and girl relations
was GR Secretary Hana Uno's
topic when she taIked to
the Mademoiselles Friday.

Alma K. Folda, chief
nurse, expressed her thanks
to the Yxgirls who, under
the direction of,Alice Suzuki, made baby gowns for
the hospital.

Circular letters to former members will be written and pictures will be
taken when- the Twenteens
meet at Hospitality House
Sunday at 2 p.m. Plans will
also be made for the May
jnd June activities.

is assisting in the beautifying of Hospitality House
by making the curtains.

FETED AT .TEA
A tea honoring mothers
was • held at Hospitality
House'.Sunday by the .YWCA.
•Greetings were extended
by Anry Hattori, chairman
of the .event; Mrs. R. Obi,
member of the Y advisory
board; and response by Mrs.
S. Kamiya, representing
the Women's federation, who
also told the mothers a-
bout the purpose of Hospitality House.
Entertainment included
a piano solo by Hannah Tani;
sonp-s by Pat Suzuki, Sumi
Kawamura, and Wee Teeners
with Callie Kaneko as the
soloist; and a poem by Joy
Ta keyama.
Esther Br ie s emeister,
national YWCA secretary;
Mrs.W. T. Carstarphen; and
Alma Folda, head nurse at
the hospital; were introduced.
The Mersantas were, in
charge of the refreshments
served by the Girl Reserves .

Games, dancing, and refreshments were enjoyed by
the Twenteens, Colleens,
and their guests Saturday
night at Hospitality House.
With "Maytime" as the theme,
the hall was decorated with
pastel streamers and spring
flowers.
Violet Kumimoto and Aiko
Tokunaga were mistresses of
ceremonies.

Vern Campbell, adviser of
the Colleens, and visiting
soldiers.
