Tests Planned

persons possessing stenographic and typing abilities.
Interested persons who

office.
PRESENT MOVIES
MAY BE CHANGED
Unless a new film arrives, "The Trail of the
Vigilantes" will be shown
here through Friday evening
instead of ending on Thursday, as previously announced.. If the new picture arrives, however, this
Western will end tomorrow
night.
If the new feature arrives, it will be shown
fir om Fr iday to Sunday night .
If It fai.ls to come, "Brig-
ham Young, Frontiersman,"
will begin Saturday.
POSTPONEMENT OF
CONTEST ANNOUNCED
The kite contest scheduled for this morning has
been postponed until tomorrow due to the weather, it
was announced by .the element arv school office.
FIRST CHARTER
AMENDMENT PASSES
At press -time, 22 of the
29 blocks had turned in
returns from Monday's vote
to determine whether or not
issei should be permitted
to hold block representative offices.
Of the total number of
votes, 10 per cent are opposed to the proposed move.
But,- according to W. Ray
Johnson, community services
chief, "the amendment is
being carried by an overwhelming ' margin in every
block.""

the fact that all residents
should have their photos
taken on the dates specified for their respective
blocks, regardless of whether or not they plan to
leave the center in the

Back in mid-December, our boy, just plain Chris
Ishii, top' PIONEER staff artist, (Lil Neebo), prcked
his duffle bag and headed for Camp Savage, Minn., as
a new recruit in the US Army.
It's been five months and Chris is back—A CORPORAL
--but still our boy.
A bit more bronzed and heavier, he present a
handsome' picture in his snappy soldier's uniform--
the guys look. on in envy and the gals swoon.
Corporal Ishii is staying with the linos at 6E-1C,
and is expected to leave for Camp Savage tomorrow.
Before coming here he'was in Denson, Ark., visiting
his folks*
