Dearest Alice and Leon,
You don't know how grateful I am to you for giving me an opportunity to see you and express my deepest thanks for all you have
done for me. I have so much to say, but my mind is not clear and
my concentration is quite poor. I really want to thank you; I know
my sons will never forget you as they have heard about you since they
were little tots.
Edward graduated yesterday from the University of Michigan ( he
completed four years of college in three years). His goal is a
joint degree in law and a Master's in Business Administration. He
wants to take one year off and work, if possible, in a financial
institution of some sort. He feels as though this experience is
necessary background for the degrees which he intends to pursue.
I am scheduled for a carotid arteriogram tomofcrow, and most
likely brain surgery next week; nothing definite yet.
I enjoyed the two issues of Vision which you sent. Fresno
Community Hospital certainly seems very progressive and appears to
have a considerable future. Good-luck.
