Community Hospital Board
Clovis Members Are Elected
Leon S. Peters, president of Fresno Community Hospital's
board of trustees, has announced the election of three new
trustees to the newly expanded 17-member board.
Elected were Einar Cook and Yoshito Takahashi of Clovis
and James B. Mayer of Fresno. v
Cook is secretary-treasurer of Grundfos Pumps International Crop, and a Clovis area farmer. He is a founder and
former board president of Clovis Memorial Hospital, which
recently merged with Fresno Community Hospital.
Cook is active in numerous Clovis organizations and was
named Clovis "Citizen of the Year" in 1976.
Takahashi is president of Takahashi Farms of Clovis and
was a trustee of Clovis Memorial Hospital prior to the merger. He also is active in numerous Clovis organizations and
was named "Citizen of the Year" in 1977.
Mayer is a management-financial consultant and is the
retired president and chief executive officer of Producers
Cotton Oil Co. He continues to serve as a director of the firm.
Mayer also is the retired chairman and chief executive
officer and a current director of Falley National Bank of
Arizona.
