It is reached by ferry boats and by the $80,000,000 San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge, which spans the harbor. In the foreground is the $25,000,000 Golden Gate Bridge; San Francisco hills and wharves are on the right, and eastward are the homes and factories of metropolitan Oakland, Alcatraz, "The Rock" is the first island. |
