PLACE OF MUCH ACTIVITY—The College Religious Center (CRC).
"A Growing Faith in a Shrinking Universe" was the theme of Religion-in-Life
Week which was February 21-25. Three
speakers covered a wide variety of religious topics during well-attended seminars. The seminars were on such subjects as "The Religious Aspect of Contemporary Prophetic Literature in San
Francisco"—by Rev. Pierre Delattre, director of the Bread and Wine Mission
in the North Beach section of San Francisco; "Are Science and Religion Contradictory"—by Rev. William Moore, high
school principal, pastor and lecturer at
Aquinas1 Adult Theology School in Los
Angeles; "How do Judaism and Christianity Differ"—by Rabbi Joseph Gum-
biner, director of the Hillel Foundation
—University of California at Berkley.
The campus was visited by nationwide
traveling rhetorical drama company—
The Bishop's Company. "Cry, the Beloved
Country," an adaptation of Alan Paton's
novel about Africa, was presented by
the company.
