Just as these two Fresno State College residence hall students stand on the threshhold of an
expansive on campus program, YOU, as a college student stand on the threshold of a decade
which may usher in the space age and which offers tremendous opportunities and presents
many challenges.
We hope that your four or five years at FSC have or will prepare you to meet these future
challenges....
As you carry on progress, which never stands still, may you reflect back on the years spent
commuting to or living on the corner of Cedar and Shaw as a memorable and extremely
worthwhile experience.
We hope that the opportunities that come will be met with understanding, high ideals, and
knowledge gained at Fresno State . . . May YOU, the student, to whom this book is dedicated pass these ideals on to your children.
